How to make a Sloppy Breeze with Pineapple Bubly and Absolut Citron

June 21, 2021 //  by Jamie Hart//  Leave a Comment

This summer the Sloppy Jones team is sipping on this refreshing and zippy cocktail! We love how light, tart and easy this cocktail is and we can’t wait to share it with you (but only if you are of legal drinking age of course).

You will need Absolut Citron, Pineapple Bubly, Red Grapefruit juice and blackberries.

You Will Need

-1. oz of Absolut Citron
-1. oz of Red Grape Fruit Juice
-5 Blackberries
-A can of Pineapple Bubly
-Ice
-A rocks glass

Absolut Citron

Instructions

Start by filling your rocks glass with ice. Next add your Absolut Citron. After that add the grapefruit juice.

Then top with Pineapple Bubly and garnish with 5 blackberries.

Stir and serve with a drink marker if you have guests.

The Inspiration

The Sloppy Breeze is a refreshing and light take on the classic Sea Breeze cocktail. The Sea Breeze was born in the 1920s in the united States and traditionally contains vodka, cranberry juice and grapefruit juice. It became incredibly popular in the 1970s and is an IBA standard cocktail.

What to Serve with the Sloppy Breeze

We recommend serving the Sloppy Breeze with grilled fish or chicken, green salads and fresh veggies.

If you are in an area where you are able to have guests make sure to use drink markers (we’re using a steel flamingo) to keep everyone’s cocktails separate and identifiable.
