I can’t believe how kind, generous and talented our cast are. Prepare to be blown away.

I was on a ZOOM catch up while stuck at home in Toronto with cast members Jamie Hart, Sophie Nation, Sebastian Sage and Jeigh Madjus. I was lamenting that we could not film the series yet and we were running out of Videos for our new YouTube Channel. I asked for ideas. I mentioned to the team that I had been watching a lot of people recording fun stuff at home, particularly song covers. I added that I am a HUGE fan of several songs including “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper from the soundtrack of “A Star Is Born”.

Jeigh who plays Chef Antoni is a professional singer who was performing in Moulin Rouge on Broadway up until the lockdown. He has done several performances at home including one for Good Morning America. I confess, I often ask him to sing something. His voice and range are fantastic!!

Sebastian Sage who plays “himbo” Damian had sung and played bass guitar on stage last year in Bloom with 4th Line Theatre but had not recorded anything like this before apparently.

They decided to do something unbelievably fun for our audience and for me by making a Music Video and Cover of Shallow. They filmed themselves on their phones at home. Jamie edited.

OMG I could not be more delighted. I have watched it and listened to it over and over.

I think it is the best cover of “Shallow” I have ever heard. Sebastian is so good then Jeigh is beyond good- he just gives you goosebumps!! I bet Gaga will go Gaga too. So will a lot of fans. Enjoy and let me know in the comments. Plus don’t forget to subscribe to our channel.
