Harper Shelley, Bartender (23) played by Jamie Hart
Harper is a broke, bisexual bartender with a wry sense of humor.
She’s got a biting wit and isn’t afraid to use it. Harper is emotionally anxious out of insecurity, to the point of ruining relationships and opportunities that make her happy. She’s self-destructively loyal, doing things like breaking into Frank’s office when he disappears to steal his checkbook and forge his signature to pay out the staff. Harper is the moral compass of the group. She has a strong (but not traditionally lawful) set of morals, and she’s willing to start shit over them. Harper cares intensely about her friends.
Harper graduated from U of T’s Trinity College with a BFA in literature that she isn’t using. She has massive debt from taking an advance on a crime novel she never managed to deliver. She has a literary reference for everything- they go over most people’s heads. She’s secretly a DM for a weekly Dungeons & Dragons group and she has a soft spot for the Romantics but refuses to admit it. Harper likes whiskey, Lord Byron, and not talking to you about her feelings. She desperately wants consistency and to feel stable but has destructive flings with girls and guys.
