Our Team
Season 1 of the Sloppy Jones Series is produced by award-winning veteran Susan Nation, from indie entertainment company Hop To It Productions, with the support of OUTtv and Ontario Creates.
The slasher comedy series was co-created and co-written for Hop To It by fresh funny queer creative team Jamie Hart, Sophie Nation, and Jonathan Neil Alexander, with the support of executive producers and creative consultants Amanda Walsh and Colin Mochie, as well as creative consultant Lory Mpiana.
The 5 new Season 1 Episodes were directed by Emily Cohn, and shot by DOP Dale Hildebrand with a great team. They were edited by Liam Hart with Music by Phil Strong. The acting ensemble features incredible comedic icons Linda Kash and Colin Mochrie, plus Jamie Hart, Sophie Nation, Jonathan Neil Alexander, Lory Mpiana, Sebastian Sage, Sam Malkin, Jeigh Madjus, Isabel Kanaan and adorable Pom Pom Chewy. The series pilot, trailer and other development materials were co-produced over 2 years by Susan with Nina Beveridge of Beevision (c0-founder and former CEO of Hop To It) with the support of Ontario Creates, CMF, WIFT, ACTRA, amazing mentors and friends including Colin Mochrie, Winnifred Jong, Amanda Walsh, Linda Kash, Carrie Cutforth, Judy Croon, Paul Hart, Jill Golick and many others.
The development series teaser video and pilot were directed by Winnifred Jong and shot by DOP Dale Hildebrand with cameraman Joel D’Alimonte.
