Synopsis

Sloppy Jones is a short-form slasher comedy series about three queer Gen-Zillennial servers working at Sloppy Jones Grill: RORY, a free spirited people pleaser; HARPER, a book-smart, bisexual bartender; and THOMAS, a calculating b*tch. This Unholy Trinity’s world is upended when they discover the severed torso of their dirtbag boss FRANK JONES in the freezer, just as DEBORAH, Frank’s estranged wife, makes a perfectly timed entrance into their lives. They are caught redhanded with the torso by wine heiress and customer CASSIE LEY and every single one of them looks guilty – no one is safe until the trio find out- Who killed Frank…and who will they kill next?

Episode Descriptions

Episode 1: Over my Dad Body

Dirtbag owner of Sloppy Jones Grill, Frank Jones, berates his staff; Harper, the bartender, Rory the server and Thomas the Better Server lick their wounds (take shots) and toast to his demise.

Episode 2: Laid Over

Relaxing in the heart-shaped tub back at the Motel Room (Thomas and Rory’s “temporary” apartment), Rory asks Harper to be #official. Thomas storms in and kicks them out to hook up with his toxic ex, August.

Episode 3: Money, Money, Money

Cassie Ley, (local vineyard heiress) stomps in demanding Frank settles the unbelievably massive tab he’s racked up with her family’s vineyard.

Episode 4: Rib Night

Rory and Thomas wrangle Harper into doing the unspeakable. Cassie almost walks in on them, doing the unspeakable.

Episode 5: 86 Frank, Sub Deborah Jones

Frank’s estranged wife Deborah Jones shows up, demanding to see Frank. The staff are caught red handed. Deborah uses this as an opportunity to fulfil her ultimate dream; To be in Control.

Episode 6: Who Killed Frank

Hotshot detective Blake Guinto arrives on the scene to interrogate Deborah and the staff. Everyone at the restaurant looks guilty and speculates about who killed Frank, then gets distracted by hookups and partying… until Chef Antoni notices a mysterious threatening note written in “Blood” claiming that Deb is the murderer.
